2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT

Information you give us.

When you join the waitlist or contact us, we collect what you type into the form — typically your name and email address, and any other fields we ask for, such

as your practice type, years in practice, or what you're hoping to get out of the membership. If you email us directly, we keep that correspondence.

Information collected automatically.

Like most websites, ours records basic technical information when you visit: your IP address, browser and device type, operating system, the pages you view, how long you stay, and the site or ad that referred you. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).

Information from third parties.

Our waitlist form is hosted by GoHighLevel, and our email and analytics providers may supply us with engagement data — whether an email was opened, whether a link was clicked, and similar activity.

What we do not want you to send us.

Please do not send us patient information, protected health information (PHI), or any clinical records through our forms or email. C-School is business education for practitioners. We are not a covered entity or business associate under HIPAA with respect to this website, and nothing here is set up to receive patient data. If you send us patient information, we will delete it.

3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION

We use the information we collect to:

- Add you to the waitlist and tell you when C-School opens

- Send you updates, educational content, and offers related to C-School

- Understand what our audience needs so we can build the right material

- Operate, maintain, secure, and improve the website

- Measure how our marketing performs

- Respond when you contact us

- Comply with our legal obligations and enforce our terms

We do not sell your personal information for money.

We do share limited information with advertising platforms so we can show ads to people like you and measure whether our ads work. Under some state privacy laws, this activity counts as "sharing" or as "targeted advertising," and you have the right to opt out. See Section 8.

4. HOW WE SHARE INFORMATION

We share personal information only in these circumstances:

Service providers. Companies that run things on our behalf — website hosting, our CRM and email platform, analytics, payment processing (once the membership opens), and customer support tools. They may only use your information to provide that service to us.

Business transfers. If C-School is sold, merged, or reorganized, information may transfer as part of that transaction. We'll notify you if the way your data is handled would materially change.

Legal reasons. When we're required to by law, subpoena, or court order, or when we reasonably need to in order to protect our rights, our members, or the public.

With your direction. When you ask us to share something, or agree to it. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with unrelated third parties for their own marketing.

5. EMAIL AND TEXT MESSAGES

When you join the waitlist, you're asking us to email you about C-School. We'll send launch news, educational material, and occasional offers. Every email we send includes an unsubscribe link, and it works immediately. You can also email [email protected] and ask us to remove you. We may still send you a message if it's necessary — for example, to respond to something you asked us about, or to tell you about a change to this policy. If you give us your mobile number and agree to receive texts, we may send you messages about C-School. Message and data rates may apply. Message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for assistance. Consenting to texts is never a condition of joining the waitlist or of purchasing anything.

6. COOKIES AND TRACKING

We use cookies and similar technologies for a few purposes:

Essential cookies keep the site working — loading pages, remembering form entries, and keeping things secure. The site doesn't function properly without them.

Analytics cookies tell us how people find and move through the site, so we can improve it. We currently use Google Analytics and the Meta pixel.

Advertising cookies and pixels let us measure our ads and show relevant ones to people who've visited.

You can control cookies through your browser settings — most browsers let you block or delete them, though blocking essential cookies may break parts of the site. You can also opt out of Google Analytics using Google's browser add-on.

Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. We treat Global Privacy Control signals as opt-out requests.

7. HOW LONG WE KEEP INFORMATION

We keep waitlist and member information for as long as you're on our list or in our community, and for a reasonable period afterward for recordkeeping, legal, and business purposes. If you unsubscribe, we keep a minimal record of your email address so we don't accidentally contact you again. Technical and analytics data is generally retained in aggregated or shortened form. You can ask us to delete your information at any time — see below.

8. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS

Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of these rights:

- Know what personal information we hold about you and how we use it

- Get a copy of it, or have it sent to another service

- Correct information that's wrong

- Delete your information

- Opt out of targeted advertising, or of the "sale" or "sharing" of your data

- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights

To make a request, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request." We'll verify who you are before we act — usually by confirming you control the email address on the account. We'll respond within the timeframe the applicable law requires. You may use an authorized agent, and we may ask for proof of their authority.

We extend these rights to everyone who contacts us, regardless of where you live.

California residents. The CCPA/CPRA gives you the rights listed above, including the right to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information and to limit use of sensitive personal information. We do not sell personal information for money and we do not knowingly sell the personal information of anyone under 16.

Other states. Residents of states with comprehensive privacy laws — including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Florida, and others — have similar rights and can use the same contact above. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying to our response.

9. SECURITY

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, including encryption in transit, access controls, and vetting the vendors we use. No website or system is perfectly secure, though, and we can't guarantee that information sent to us over the internet is safe from every possible risk. If we ever have a breach affecting your information, we'll notify you as required by law.

10. CHILDREN

This website is intended for practicing clinicians, students in clinical programs, and other business owners — adults, in other words. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, email [email protected] and we'll delete it.

Our site and our content link to other companies' websites and software tools. Some of those links are affiliate links, which means we may earn a commission if you sign up (see our Terms). We don't control those sites, and this policy doesn't cover them. Read their privacy policies before handing over your information.
